Payment Requirements
To get paid for your WordAds earnings, you need to provide the following:
- PayPal E-mail Address: Enter the email address linked to your PayPal account to receive payments.
- Social Security Number: US citizens must provide their Social Security number as required by the IRS.
How They Pay
WordAds pays out earnings once the outstanding amount exceeds $100. Payments are made to the PayPal account you've registered in your settings.
- Payment Schedule: Payments are issued once your earnings exceed $100. If you earn less than $100 in a given month, the earnings will roll over to the next month.
- Net 30 Payment: Finalized earnings are posted at the end of the month following the one in which they were earned. For example, earnings made in January will be issued by the end of February.
If you decide to close your WordPress.com account or withdraw from WordAds and have an outstanding amount less than $100, you can contact support to request a payout of the remaining balance. Note that if you withdraw from WordAds, you won't be able to reactivate it on the same site again.
By following these steps and requirements, you can successfully join WordAds and start monetizing your WordPress.com site.
